I see almost no one predicting a pause in the US markets. I admit seeing insiders cashing in like wildfire is a pretty important indicator. I'm not sure it will have any affect on the overall public's view of the market but it should make more take notice of this fact. This is profit taking season and there are plenty of profits to be taken.

There is some uncertainty as to the tax structures going forward, which adds another weight to one side of the balance scales - encouraging portfolio restructuring. Whether that's a move to cash or simply to adjust one's assets to a more reasonable investment theme, it makes sense to adjust before the end of the tax year.

Watching bitcoin soar everyday also makes one wonder about dislocations in the market and areas where we might see some things "blowing up"...in both a good sense and bad.
