<<I try not to overthink the valuation models but seeing things like insiders cashing out is a very worthy data point.>>

Agreed - and the corollary is also very noteworthy. I've done very well recently and in the not too distant past by buying after seeing big insider buys on the open market

ENPH - in the teens
BLNK - in the 8s
FUBO - in the 8s and 9s

If you look at that chart, there is a decent delay from the high valuations and the start of the index decline. We may just do a replay of last year.
There isn't enough vaccine to make much of a difference in the immediate future so as we go into the holidays and winter, COVID cases should spike up even further. I can see brutal lockdowns and people slowing buying activity by choice. Add in a few systemic shocks if renter/mortgage/landlord bailouts don't occur. China is already imposing import limitations on Australia and could put their sites on us next. Europe is teetering on the edge of disaster too.
I could see us ramp to a new high "just because", lock in those wall street bonuses, hit those magical round numbers like DOW 30K, maybe even SPX 4k then come down hard until spring/summer.
