Hello String,
I don't understand what all the worry is about? Granted, PSFT was easier to figure out several quarters ago, but current actions & reactions to the earnings release time frame suggests one of two options, to my untrained eye;
1)it runs up to a high in expectation of good numbers, then backs off after release. (or)
2)it runs up then backs off, (usually a day or two before),after release,price generally hits highs,using this scenario. This appears to be the mode we're in this time around.
The big boys who move the market aren't going to hold through these volatile times,(Clinton sit.,Iraq, Asia), They're quick enough to get in after the numbers come out, why take the risk of missed numbers if you don't have to?
My prediction, Tuesday dip to 32's, Wednesday hits 38/39.

Good Luck To All,
