There was a fire sale today on SOFTQUAD.
TSE: closed at .99, down $.33 from yesterday's close, volume 134100 shares.
NASDAQ: closed at 11/16, down 1/8 from yesterday's close, volume 25200 shares.
Is anyone long-term bullish?

>>Obviously, any share buy back will be positive on the stock

good point Peter. That singular comment should have sent a clear signal to shareholders that Softquad's best investment going forward would be to invest in itself.

Also, given SQ now has sustained further s/h value destruction as proximate cause of Lernout & Hauspie, SoftQuad should now initiate additional litigation against LHSPF out of Ontario. Canada nor Investment Canada will look kindly on a foreign Corporation strongarming a Canadian company and pejoratively affecting its revenues in particular and Canada's export trade, in general. This is potentially a $100+ million lawsuit, and esp. given MSFTs contemporaneous involvement and alleged issues (causes of action) of antitrust, RICO, and or fraudulent conspiracy.

Don't they also need a hoard of cash to do the buy back with?
