I am not a flu shot kind of guy.. Just plain lazy to go through the hassle but last year my wife insisted that I should get one because I tend to have some thing or the other in most winters.. So just to keep peace :) so to speak, I did get the shot..

And it may be just a coincidence but I did not catch any thing last winter..

So this year, with Covid lurking, there was no need to pressure me.. I got the shot towards the 3rd week of October because I wanted it to last well into late spring.. Timing of it was something based on an interview of Dr. Fauci that I heard about his timeline for taking a flu shot..

FWIW.. Let's see how it turns out.. I do take D-3 as well .. 5000 iu

my Mom and Dad took flu shots every year, I took one when my oldest daughter was five, I immediately got sick and was sick for 3 weeks, never took a flu shot again and never got the flu, that's been for over 15 years, I did have the flu many times when I was young so I don't know why I don't get the flu now, I don't like crowds eat pretty good, who knows
