I don't think that is the cause, I've clicked on lots of
URLs that point to subscriber sites and they just ask for
a userid and password.

I believe that somewhere down the line, our virus
detection software found a virus at that site.
By the name of it, I'd guess that it's a virus
attached to a Microsoft Word document.
