Dt Bank cleaned up in a very bold move (as well as smart from the tax point of view) and declared large loss provisions. Result: bang up the ladder!. Moody's and S&P people are all over the place - their season regarding ratings. The German totals are very much different from one mouth to another I heard anything between 100 and 160 BDM. Special kick is that the small banks also got all involved in a (too) big fashion. You know , those S&L type of gangsters that will seize your car for defaulting on 30 DM payment. Otherwise we're all whistling in the woods. Janko
