Simply not efficient, and subjecting the miles of existing gas pipelines to the “ perniciousness “ of hydrogen. “Hydrogen will just speed up into the air if a leak from a rupture will happen compared to gasoline that will drip and catch fire.” Not true about hydrogen leak. Note the highest rating for flammability here.. You just added 3 more inefficient steps by adding it to natural gas pipelines. I ask you ,, how many inefficient steps before it is added to the pipeline and how many inefficient steps after it comes out.
