Medinah Update:
Talked to Ralph at Medina-604-684-8685 for the first time. Easy to talk to and very informative. I recommend you call him if you have not already done so.
Looks like we are in for a very interesting February! I try to outline some of our discussion.
1)Development of Andacollo properties appears to be on hold for the time being. Looks like Medinah is simply going to hold on to the properties for now-perhaps hope to sell the properties that are next to Dayton-to Dayton. Production costs for those properties appear to be higher as their is no smelter that they could use nearby-MDIN does not have the money/financing for startup there at the moment. If the don't sell to Dayton-perhaps develop later when they do have the money.
2) Possible Acquistions that were annouced in december will require further sampling/testing before they setup a pilot plant there. These properties are not the focus either.
3) Possible acquistions that were annouced earlier this month appear to be the focus. Looks like these acquistions are going to be wrapped up in the next two weeks or sooner. Company officals will be headed down soon. Pilot scale operations to start very soon-full production expected perhaps early spring. Productions costs expected be less than $120-smelter nearby that can be used-pays spot prices for whatever refined ore you give it. Sounds like these properties are the mother of all gold properties. Big! Acquistion might result in limited parntership with the present landowner. MDIN have apparantly has extremely good relations with the Chileans-explains why they are getting the cream of the crop as far gold properties are concerned. Apparantly Ralph was hired due to has good relations with the Chileans.
4) Ralph expects shareprice perhaps in the muilt-dollar range perhaps extremely soon do to these developments and something else that he hinted at. Not sure what-my guess some big investors(mutual fund) or mining players are extremely interested as well-perhaps they are going down to see the properties themselves with MDIN goes down?
Whatever it is-should have a massive positive impact on shareprices-its big!
5) Ralph says that the company has been massively shorted including naked shorting-looking at the tape-did not look to him that short covering occurred today-stressed that stock certificates be registered due to this.
6) Medinah may not want to dilute their interest in these properties with NPEC since probably already be a partner with the present land owner-still a possiblity that NPEC may become a part owner.
7) Ralph might become the IR person for NPEC but is not currently. Says NPEC gold production in Brazil is spitting out 800 gram/day-refining price working great, not at capacity yet-still trying to get the 20 million tons of tailings. NPEC is not the focus right now-looks like Regis is trying to get everthing squared away with MDIN first. Did mention that there is a video available of this process.
8) Looking down the road-hoping for listing with Toranto exchange or possibly NASDAQ.
9) Ralph mentioned several penny stocks which he has been involved with which have become dollar stocks almost overnight-expects the same to happen to MDIN.
10)No diluation expected in the short term-thinks the new acquistions can be accomplished without diluation.
11)Finally Ralph says you should buy MDIN at whatever position you can afford-you are going to be richly rewarded-short term! Good luck all-please call Ralph-don't take my word for it. Hope I got all the facts straight.
