VTSS and ANAD both are GaAs semiconductor manufacturers. I think that's the only real similarity. ANAD has always focused more on RF markets and analog to digital conversion where lower margins and higher volume is the norm. VTSS focuses on the high bandwidth applications that are associated with high speed digital communication.

ANAD's lousy forward looking statement may be a signal that AHA, RFMD, and TQNT could have trouble going forward. Are these other companies cutting into ANAD's pie and/or is it a problem with the segment of the industry that ANAD caters to?

I don't think ANAD's issues will directly effect VTSS. VTSS recently reported their earnings and VTSS's forward looking statement was dramatically more positive. Bookings going forward for VTSS are still tremendous.

Keep in mind that one usually hears or reads VTSS, TQNT and ANAD as being the Big 3 GaAs companies therefore some maybe quick to abandon VTSS due to ANAD's shortfall. I think the fact that VTSS held it's ground today says a mouthful.

Good Luck.....above my opinion...do you own research!
