If you really think these stocks are headed lower, then of course you can make money by selling short or by buying puts or selling calls etc.. I must confess, the selling today was a little deeper and sustained than I expected. I've looked at some of the charts and I get a mixed bag, some sell signals, some buy signals.
The only chart that seems to give definitive direction is the weekly OSX stochastics which is giving me the first buy signal since last March. See the chart of the week at:

I've got my new hardrive up and running (9 gig Ultra wide SCSI) and added some more memory (128 megs RAM), so now my computers flying again. Just wish my stocks were flying too.

Next week will be critical I think. If we can keep from breaking the recent higher low at 92.45 (1/26/98) on the OSX, that would lend credence to my turnaround theory. If we go below that, then I would have to re-evaluate, cover my margins, and cut my losses.
