Let's see... PairGain announces a low-power, highly-integrated, cost-effective, DMT-based processor. At the same time, computer & communications industry heavyweights throw their support behind an ITU standard based on DMT. Do we have any rocket scientists out there that can decipher all this...

DOWNGRADE!!!!! PairGain Tech PAIR Dain Rauscher Strong Buy¯ Buy

I think that these recent downgrades are due to similar reason that a company like ADC was downgraded. The Baby Bells, ILEC and CLECs just aren't spending as liberally this quarter as last. I think that PAIR will probably stay steady this quarter or maybe a couple cents short of expectations. I'm getting out for now and I'll get back in the game later when sales rise.
