Find the myopia fascinating...

It is as if the virus has no real impact that matters... other than providing an ample excuse for the monetary craziness that had been reaching limits in sustainability already... to be continued indefinitely... and massively expanded... all without any worry that it might have unintended consequences in the future.

The market floats along blissfully on a sea of easy money... ensuring that bad news in reality is good news in the market, given clear assurances that enough new money will flow to counter any perceived ill effect..

Meanwhile, there's a parallel "benefit" in the recognition that the virus will end, eventually... and when it does... there will be a gigantic economic boom... from which all and only good things will result...

And now... that's only 6 months away ? And, we shouldn't bother worrying now about any of those things we were already deeply worried about before any of this happened ?

Hmmm. There must be something missing from that formulation... but, what could it be ?
