They could ping; they could do a lot of things. At that point it's probably easier for most kids to just go get a magazine like we did. <g>

Right now, it's the opposite&#151much easier to get it on the net. I'm saying it could made difficult enough so that parents don't have to be as concerned about the net, and leave it alone. Net regulation is a touchy subject.

But David, first off I am not sure that there is a viable method. So, the more obscure you make it, the more they have to learn to get to it. Right now all they have to do is sit down and type in dirty words and put a .com on it.

Besides, almost whatever you do if they are determined to get it, they will. Even if it requires a credit card, they can always "borrow" one. So why not make them learn something technical like ping and traceroute, to do it? At least you can be comforted in the knowledge that while they are sitting there looking at those pictures of naked women (let's hope that's all they're looking at), they also know how to do a traceroute. As opposed to say comforted by the fact that while they are sitting there looking, they know how to boost a credit card, or steal a password.
