<< In nutshell, some shady characters like Vinik and Cramer (with some help of mm's, I think) are playing the game of russian ruelette with the shorts. Some say they are buying, some that this stock is 99% manipulated >>

Since I'm the one who brought it up, I should clarify. I don't think Cramer is in cahoots with Vinik to squeeze the shorts. I think Cramer buys because he truly believes in the company and it's prospects. I get the impression that Vinik is the one who might buy with the intentions of squeezing some shorts.

Cramer once referred to Vinik as "Darth Vader" and said he might be behind the squeeze in AMZN.

I don't know who is buying what, I just know that people are still buying.

YHOO is like mother nature. Never underestimate the power of Mother Nature. She is a force to be reckoned with. Mother Nature can bring bountiful crops and great prosperity, but she can also inflict devastation and ruin upon entire civilizations.

Bears need to respect the full power and force of YHOO. It is too easy to be turned to the dark side....

Hi chmaj,

I was playing it long a little over 40 points ago. It stopped looking like smart money in either direction when it hit 30. It started looking like a good short at 60. When it hit 71 and started going out like the tide it became an obvious short.

I don't have anything against Yahoo. I use their search engine all the time. It's about money. There were a lot of folks in love with Netscape at 65 too. It's amazing how fast folks can fall out of love when they loose enough money.

Regards,

Don
