Teddy: OT - re PSUN

Just wanted to throw my two cents in on that one. Generally, the best time to buy retailers is in August or September, with an eye to selling them right after Thanksgiving. In the late summer, they are generally pretty cheap, and they appreciate slowly going into the Christmas selling season. Usually, there are analyst upgrades in the fall. Then, the optimal time to sell them is the week right after Thanksgiving, while everyone is still optimistic about the Christmas selling season, but before reality sets in (the second week on).

I traded Gadzooks (GADZ) that way this year. Bought it the last week of August at 19, sold it at 30. It's 21 again now.

Anyway, FWIW.

Have a good weekend.

Teddy,

Yes. I noticed the opportunity early and posted here, and it was extremely speculative. I mostly sold into the rally on Friday (not IOM), and will wait for a pullback now, or a breakout and then a pullback, before I get back in fully. The sector is still in a downtrend technically, so you should have time to review the fundamentals. Let me know which components you prefer, and I'll give you my TA opinion like we did with the drillers.

Funny thing is, at the time I noticed the changes in the DDX and its components, I thought IOM looked a whole lot stronger than the others, and so I pegged it as the leader. Then it got creamed...........but it was the last to fall. This typically means it had the most strength, and so should be the first to recover and lead........at least this is the common wisdom! So, I am very interested to see what will happen now.
