Oh Oh !

At the time I was curious why SIBI issued this release the day after Cadus annnounced their MIT deal.

Richard,
I don't mind calling the IR about the patent dispute and the possible effect on the dropping stock price--but I'd be shocked if the company did anything but dismiss this concern. I know Cadus has two issued patents and has filed for about 50 more -- with one on-going patent dispute with Sibia a looming worry. But I don't know much more than that. How do you see it? What is Cadus' stance? I'm not a lawyer, and I got interested in Cadus this past December before the Levin departure, when it was recommended by the.street's newsletter. I liked the prospects then, and I still do -- even more so, if they lock into strong CEO in time. But frankly, I've seen patent disputes over technology in other areas drag on and on and nothing comes of it. Maybe this is different. Your reasoned take would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Steve
