There's no money grab. There is paying somebody to buiild a wind turbine, and there is paying somebody else to install it, and somebody else to maintain it. There is paying somebody to build an electric car, and somebody else to weatherize a building.
When you use government money to pay for less efficient technologies, when you force your constituents to pay for them, and you and your friends are vested in the companies that sell these technologies, then it's a clear money grab.

Face it, from the standpoint of efficiency, solar and wind still can't compare to fossil fuels like natural gas. The only advantage they have is that they have lower emissions.
