Cheeky,
Since you are asking so seriously, I'll be serious for a moment before i go eat pizza and watch our family Friday violence and bloodshed movie.
I haven't read any of Holly's writing outside of her posts but I get the feeling she is very good; she has a wonderful way with words and she's funny and very bright. I don't even know if she writes! We have several excellent writers around--professional and aspiring, some of whom leave me breathless with their talents.
Writing is an intensely personal and demanding activity. I've tried some joint efforts and found these even tougher than writing alone. There is so much of oneself wrapped up in creative work that it's hard to separate the two-at least for me. I would think co-operative writing might be a bit like marriage--very challenging and a lot of hard work!

Cheeky Kid,

Penni and I thank you for your comments re our writing talents and commend and compliment you on your excellent literary taste and discernment. If it's good writing you go for, you might want to bookmark most of the talented folk who post here at Rambi.

FWIW, Penni drinks wine, but I smoke cigarettes AND drink wine. Sadly, I cannot drink wine and write at the same time. One glass of wine, and my fingers know not how to find their way to the right keys on the keyboard, and I become the proverbial one-thousand monkeys trying to write Shakespeare.

BTW, the Boink thread is now on Yahoo's site for news about Clinton, under message boards. In fact, Boink is the only SI Clinton thread to earn that distinction. Does Yahoo recognize quality writing, or what?

Holly

p.s. Seriously, Between the two of us I much prefer Penni's writing to mine, and I say this objectively. I've had Penni bookmarked for months and months and months.
