I agree grocery prices are going up. But let’s get real, grocery is not going up, USD is going down.

a point about beer and such is that the substitution-effect may go into play, for as Team Australia's wine getting hit given the governing authorities insists on prosecuting a war against Team China, the wine would be dumped elsewhere, and once so, affect pricing of all wine, even as beer cost / price rising, people might swap enough beer for wine assuming Team USA does not hit Team Australia w/ countervailing anti-dumping import tariff

But, yes, I understand beer and wine are not altogether 1:1 swappable

But also again, Aussie wine pricing might go from low to very low, since a good 40+% customer is difficult to replace.
