Gary, I have Intels 200 day moving average ( over the course of the last 6 months and 12 months ) at about $79.75 , not at $81.75. I think that the $80 level must hold ( and probably will ) as support for the most recent uptrend to continue. If $80 holds ( and a test here would be healthy ), I see a move into the $85-87 level shortly thereafter ( in a week or two ). The sell off today was clearly afternoon profit taking on very light volume: 11.2 million shares in contrast to the 3 previous updays of 14, 16, and 18 million shares. If this is a true short term breakout, then we shouldn't have more than one more down day before the uptrend resumes.

PS. I use the " more sophisticated charts " under the "logarithmic graphs" from www.dailystocks.com
