Bob, Betty, Andy and everyone else. My Mother (aka Murphy) covers many cos. He may get numbers wrong or he might be quoted incorrectly, (but Betty is too accurate to do that). Back in April 25 issue of CTSL mother said "They started the trial last December, and already have 52 patients. In a seemingly innocuous statement, management said they have already seen 6 deaths and will meet this summer to decide what to do."

Note as Andy pointed out in June, July Aug etc these were numbers we were supposed to forget. But 6 is a hard number to forget.

Conclusion if 6 is still the number Meningococcemia no longer kills anyone.

Or Mother was wrong.

Or Betty was wrong. (doubt this one)

Or Mother just was pulling Xomas chain to get a correct number. (projecting)

I think Murphy is fine but I wish he would do a beter job on the details. When I read Sturza I am reasonably sure his data is correct. Can't say the same about Mother. When I see a number I wonder, Can this really be????
