Yup, tell them in very simple terms. If you don't want to follow the Constitution and enforce the law without regard to political affiliations or bias, submit your resignation letter today.

The Civil Rights Division at Justice has always been very political. Enforcement priorities changed there from administration to administration. Somewhat the same in Lands & Natural Resources Division. The Tax and Civil Divisions were generally nonpolitical.

What we're seeing now is that the upper management echelons have been politicized to a great extent. FBI, which is a part of Justice, is obviously politicized as well.

When I left in 1989, I given a DOJ seal that was signed by the people I worked with and by the Attorney General. My certificate was signed by Dick Thornburgh, who was a decent, uncontroversial Attorney General.
