Paul:

The ISO series 9000, 9001, 9002, etc. are not levels of certification, but areas of certification. The one I am most current on is 9003 which is software.

The main object of the ISO series is contract assurance - an OUTSIDE VENDOR certifies that your procedures are basically what you say they are.

I don't know about hardware, but in the software BIZ CMM is, IMHO much more relevent.

What can you tell me about the CMM and ISO certification levels of INTC?

Still short INTC & regreting it, though I had lots more fun time than sorrow so far. - I have stop in @ $84.13/16, so I won't get hurt too bad.
