Personally, I find satisfaction in having lived through and worked in the early stages of computing. Most of today's youth have no idea how a computer actually works.

In '99 I kept telling myself to buy a laptop when the price
dropped below $2K. By the time I got to it, after the Y2K
crash(unempl), recession and 9/11, prices were under $1K.

Good for me!

My Dad had an IBM PC/XT for his business, when I got out
of the USAF. DOS 2.0 w/ 20MB HDD. :-)
