To All: Still short AOL. I just signed for $14.95 service with MCI. Take notice: if you have MCI for long distance, you can sign for their excellent internet service (they own most of the internet fiber network) for 14.95 (it costs 19.95 but they give you a 5.00 credit for beeing an MCI long distance customer). Also, notice the increased competition from cable companies like UMG offering ultra fax service for about $50/mo. Since you don't need the extra phone line, the cost, compared to AOL + a phone line, is very attractive. The financials of the 19.95 internet services model don't add up and IMO all the advertising revenue AOL says will materialize won't.
