Morning all.
Now that everyone knows what I look like I'll say this. Yellowknife is a small town 17,000 people and there arent all that many independent prospectors around so inevitably I get caught on film occasionally or interviewed on various things. Occupational hassard:)
Like most northernors I have read most of Robert Services poems. He did capture the feel for the place.

As for the diamond stocks, they all have their cycles and alot depends on the programs and information coming out. So it is important to know what the company is doing, when and when information is expected.
So if you are talking to any of the companies try to find out the time table of their exploration programs. The diamond exploration buisness has matured alot and I quess its a show me the results market, so just having a few targets doesnt get people very excited now, they want to know there are kimberlites and then how diamondiferous.
It is also important to remember that pipes occure in clusters so once one is found there should be others in the area. The chances of finding the best pipe first are remote.
In the NWT the winter drill season is just getting going so the next couple of months should be interesting.
regards Walt
