I agree .. it was a hard call.. and it all comes down to acceptable death rate.. Maybe folks will be cleaner going forward and flu deaths will decrease also :) It's a judgement call I get that. :) and I understand why many believ it's overblown .. I said .. personally I have no fear ... It has certainly demonstrated flaws in our elder care and care for institutionalized folks (not talking prisons LOL) I am invested in a senior care company .. it is doing nicely with a solid divvy.. but I would never send my mom to one .. She needs to stay in her own home and whatever help is required going forward comes to her... So far at 82 all marbles rolling well .. a few physical deficiencies but she drives and is independent..
