Richard,

New to the thread.

Thanks for the link. I'm one of those "value oriented people" you commented on your previous post... I've taken a small position initially to beat the rush. Now I've got to study about this company and industry as a whole. I dove in without checking hoping I won't get caught in another paradigm shift.

Do you or anyone else have another URL to recommend...that I may start hacking away at this verrryyy steep curve (learning) ahead of me?

Hope to contribute one of these days!

TIA,
SF

Thanks for the link to the CDMA site. Also, thanks for the recap of the conference call. I'm curious though, in point No. 2 "Asia is a contributing factor but not the real issue". What does this mean? Their press release says that phone manufacturers in the far east have slowed orders and have substantial inventory of ANAD's products. ANAD's Viterbi also states that based on lower demand for wireless products in the first quarter, they are expecting net losses. If Asia isn't the problem, then what is it? Competition from other suppliers? If so who?

Comments anyone?

Its good to see that they still have strong relationships and business prospects in cable set top boxes ala General Inst.

I agree Wallstreet probably over reacted and since this is a thinly traded company - the dramatic price drop. Over the long term ANAD is probably a good investment (I've been in for more than 2 yrs) but you gotta wonder what's going on - no guidence before the earnings announcement and little of substance after.
