INDO's I follow IIT TLK and KF and HKT (Hong kong telephone) Have found another I like, it is PAP, an Asia Paper and Pulp The INDO crisis has opened up several good intra-day buying opportunities and also good LONG holds I have been playing TLK daily. Now also, have put some away for the long term bot in at 8 3/8, currently at 9 3/8 Recent low of 5, recent high of 37 Jan 1997 I suggest some for a long hold. (3 yrs.) Maybe KF Korea Fund at 9 1/16 current For refernce look at TMX, when the peso was devaluated, telemexico hit lows of 25 in 1995, it is now near 50. I entered into a Latin American Mutual Fund, at that time. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the returns on my investment. Sue Taxes and withholding taking up too much time :o(

LastShadow, I haven't checked this thread for a long time, but I see that you, Jenna and some others are still doing great things. Smart people. In keeping with the "beaten down" theme, has anyone looked at VESC? Took a dive from around 20 to 6 1/2 this week on news that doesn't appear so terrible. Recent acquisitions will negatively impact earnings for 6-9 months. Oppenheimer downgraded from Strong Buy (at a 20 price!) to Hold (now at 6 1/2). 8.4 million shares out, 4.4 million float. $.11 EPS last Q. 52 week high 22 5/8, low 6 1/2 (right now). At this price, I expect to see a bounce. Then, if they get upgraded again... :o) Hardrocker

LS, I see AKLM had a nice bounce off the $3.75 support level on Friday. Maybe we can get a run to $5 next week. Any comments on this latest action? Thanks, Joe
