*1 stock -- 1 week OCAD Long open Monday* OrCAD (OCAD) rose about 9% Friday after announcing earnings about 30% up from estimates, although down from the previous year. It just acquired Microsim, which approximately doubled its overall size. I just got into this stock last Wednesday after meeting its president and CEO. biz.yahoo.com Had earnings from Microsim been included, it would have blown out the numbers for last quarter but they missed closing the deal before Dec 31 by a few days. OrCAD is the world's leading supplier of EDA software and services to engineering enterprises that develop products on the Intel(R)/ Microsoft(R) platform.
