IOM presentation at Emerald will be carried LIVE by Vcall. Time is
0810 -0840 (EST), Feb. 2. This according to e-mail from Vcall. The web site is: vcall.com

FWIW...I HATE that ad where all the stuff disappears on the airplane
...very mixed msg...I come pretty close to thinking that it's the ZIP that's CAUSING everything to vanish. Or...you think the guy's got his problem squared away with the ZIP and, Gadzooks!...the pilots are gone too. I, for one, don't like ZIP being associated with a CRASH. And, given that a large part of the public has some fear of flying to start with...why in hell is IOM victimizing itself with this stupid commercial? I say, get this one off the air.

RE: Clik internal drive in perspective.

I don't know about you, but when I read 3.37in. x 2.126in. x .256in., I have a hard time picturing the device. Sure, I see that it's small, but until I started comparing it to other things, I didn't realize how small.

I have an audio cassette tape sitting on my desk. I got out my handy-dandy tape measure and found that the cassette's dimensions are 4 1/8 x 2 1/2 X 1/2. TWO Clik drives could fit in an audio cassette case. With room to spare!

I had a tin of Altoids sitting on my desk, too. Its dimensions are 3 3/4 x 2 3/8 x 3/4. THREE Clik drives could fit in the case, with room to spare!

I have an internal Zip IDE drive (which is very small in and of itself) sitting on my desk. Its dimensions are 6 3/8 x 4 x 1. You could make a stack of Clik drives 2 x 1 x 4 (that's EIGHT drives!) and still take up less space than the little Zip IDE drive.

I have an internal CD ROM drive sitting on my desk. Its dimensions are 8 x 5 3/4 x 1 5/8. You could fit over 30 Clik drives in the same space.

Absolutely amazing!

Spank,

<Rock, if you took the time, you might check the Iomega web-site and find that the dimensions of the Clik! drive are:
Drive (LxWxH) 3.37in. x 2.126in. x .256in.

which is hardly "bloating." In addition, the site specifically says that for OEM's, a "miniature low-power version" will be available.>

All we have to just is break out a tape measure and identify objects that are of this size. Puts things into perspective.
