If I recall my reading on this correctly one republican voted against the war and he was one of the chairmen, not sure of his name. He read the actual intel instead of being briefed on it and he knew it was garbage. But it had to be safe for him to vote against his party. Dems didn't have that luxury since the polling from that time says around 90% supported war even though there was no reason for war.

As I said previously, for a Dem to oppose Bush he'd have to say why and he'd have to disclose classified information which would be a crime.
