Watching 20/20 yesterday regarding Bill Gates life, concerns, DOJ battle, as well as his future forecast, I have the feeling that if Jobs had not left Apple 14+ years ago, he probably had changed the Apple's current situation.

Jobs is no Bill Gates. His performance as CEO of NeXT prove this point perfectly. Jobs is too arrogant to listen to anybody else (save perhaps Larry Ellison). Once you have a CEO like that, you are bound to make monumental mistakes.

Fortuntately, he seems to have learned from his defeats and seems to be somewhat wiser. I still think the "clone killing" was the wrong decision. On the positive side, he's the only CEO of the last 4 that had the guts to cut deep enough...
