Where to invest Post Y2K

I continue to express more concern than most posting here about the prospects of many Y2K stocks declining and in due course a very significant broad market decline prior to a WW recession. I have finally come up with a plan to invest my money as I withdraw it from the Y2K arena. My principle objective is to provide downside protection while possibly making a moderate return. I plan to invest in a hybrid fund The Caldwell & Orkin Market opportunity fund (compqx) has about' 40% of it's assets in stocks that are shorted. Check out the historical chart against various market indicators. I like what I see.
