Yeah, possibility of long term autoimmune problems is a big theoretical concern - but we really won’t know the answer for some time. If you regularly see Covid infected patients... I would definitely take it. If you don’t mind, please let us know how it goes.

Edit - I seem to remember reading that they did a lot of work using mRNA vaccines on animals. Will try to find out more.

Under 40 and healthy and it's pretty much a mild bout of influenza
I've read accounts of young people who caught the virus and quickly "got over it," but discovered lingering effects months down the road.

What do we know about long-term effects of Covid on young people?

Not much.

Here’s an interesting, brief article about the mRNA vaccines. Looks like they’ve been used before, for different conditions. Actually, sounds encouraging. Contains some useful links.
