You betcha! That SI page is rigged to promote the leftist threads - PERIOD! Each morning when I log on SI, I click on Politics and go directly to the Recommended Thread (link at bottom of page). Almost all of my high-rec posts are ignored completely - no problem! Someone up there handling the algorithms doesn't like me. It's expected when you are an outspoken conservative woman. But I bitterly resent that this Thread will often show up at the bottom of the page with just one post. They will ignore sometimes dozens of high-rec'd posts from this Thread - and at the same time -- show multiple posts with LOW level recs from the leftist's hate-filled threads.
