<<<<<Sorry, Steve, but the Cares Act was classic Keynesian economic theory to get more money into the economic to bring it back.>>>>>

Of course! I certainly never suggested it wasn't. But the economy wasn't struggling because of economic maladjustment as in the past - it was a mess because of the pandemic. That wasn't the same! We are in a new paradigm here. It wasn't just the Cares Act for people - but it was fed policy that just flooded our economy with cash. A helicopter to drop money no longer worked so they had to use those monster airplanes.

Lots of people who were still getting a paycheck now also got $1200 - with another $600 right behind that looks like. So the people still working - and that is most of America you know!!!! - still got the 1200 AND they stopped spending because they stayed home. Savings increasing, mushrooming bank accounts.

In the last economic downturn people stopped buying - NOT this time as seems to me everyone and their Grandmother are driving a brand new car - or big HUGE SUV. Housing here is stronger than ever with pricing continuing to climb. .................I say lets party!!
