Many technicians are looking for a run up to $54/barrel. I am not buying any new positions but may use that target to peel off some of my recent high cost shares in CVX. There are some other more special situations energy plays I put on a watch list which includes KBR Inc (KBR)KBR, Inc. is a leading global engineering, construction and services company supporting the energy, hydrocarbon, government services, minerals, civil infrastructure, power and industrial markets. The company is a leader in many of the growing end-markets it serves, particularly gas monetization, having designed and constructed, alone or with joint venture partners, more than half of the world's operating liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity . KBR offers a wide range of services through its Upstream, Downstream, Technology, Services, Government and Infrastructure, and Ventures business segments. The play is Ammonia Gas production that is used in fuel cells. Ammonia Gas is a much better transport/storage fuel than Hydrogen and is easily converted to Hydrogen w/ a catalyst. KBR has other processes that convert NG (LNG) to ammonia gas. KBR's Energy Efficient Ammonia Technology Selected By Monolith Materials For New Process With Zero CO2 Emissions This technology falls in line w/ the Green New Carbon Free Economy. A Key To The ‘Hydrogen Economy’ Is Carbon-Free Ammonia hydrogen can also be moved in the form of chemical carriers. It can be moved in liquid organic carriers (such as methylcyclohexane – MCH) that absorb or release hydrogen by means of chemical reactions, and in liquid inorganic carriers (that is, lacking any carbon-hydrogen bonds), such as ammonia (NH3).
