I think you are just a negative person and are always only seeing the glass almost empty. when in fact there is over 90% water in the glass.

The unemployment rate is now 6.7% which even if you want to be really pessimistic - that still means that 90% of the people are working. Working and often not spending much and now if they are a family of four, the government is going to hand them another $2,400. Dollars.

It's not like cost are going up as inflation is almost non existent. So if these people are unable to save - 90% of the people who are working - then they have problems handling money. I know you also think that the only people in America who own stock are gauzillionaires - but in reality a lot of people own stock in one way or another. While not necessarily savings - it can be if they are smart and take a bit of their profit off the table - more savings!

YES OF COURSE there are poor people in all corners of our society that need help - and many of them are getting it. Do I wish 100% of the people that need help in feeding their family got that help? Of Course. You seem to keep trying to change the discussion into some moronic childish contest to prove that I do care. I DO!

That I do care though doesn't change the fact that I DO NOT want lawlessness in our cities and neighborhoods.
