I didn't mean the (-) as a minus, just as a dash! As for whether COREL is better than whatever MSFT is offering to compete, I don't know! The point that I was making was that MSFT is in every area of endeavor, not just a 'niche' and consequently MSFT's total of points exceeds any others. I'm not in a position to evaluate all of the various software products anymore due to time and money limitations. I guess that in a way, I have 'bailed' out and now use and recommend, as a consultant, Microsoft products. This is done because of the 'cross' application support available, not because of a superior product. Each time a new release is made, it seems that product is a little better until the other product makes its' new release! The thing is that the software has far surpassed my need to use all of the features that are offered. Whether I am using 35% in the 'old' software, or 30% in the 'new' (that 5% is any improvement that was made in the new release), my tasks complete the same!

I hope this clarifies my little example! I'm sorry for the confusion!
