Have you run across any articles on the relative density of energy using that approach compared to gasoline and deisel?
I saw a few Youtube videos that described BOTH (1) densify of the ammonia gas (slightly higher than diesel) and (2) caustic by product (ie acid) of the ammonia gas (but able to control w/ catalytic filter) during the fuel cell conversion process.

The 2nd generation fuel cells are more efficient (>60%) and heat. AMCI & FCEL are two companies that have working products. BE also announced a Marine fuel cell. Also after 7-10 years the fuel cell plates/membranes can be treated and/or recoated for a small fee ($700 on 15KW systems) so they have a longer life than standard solar cells.

It's definitely an area to watch w/ the growing demand for EV's and the focus on Green Energy.
