Sorry to hear that. I also lost a good friend recently, about the same age, also a Vietnam Vet, an old school, first generation Italian, who came to the US as a child. Very strong, robust man, loved physical stuff, shoveling snow, cut his own firewood... Terribly smart guy as well. Every few days we would have long conversations, about the markets, politics, what not. Died suddenly. Sounds like something with the heart, but his wife noticed that for a few days he didn’t feel too well, she was worried about his lungs. So, we don’t know.
