Unfortunately, most analysts are paid to have reletively short term thinking. Generally, they are paid to trade. The previous article does show some longer term perspective, but it assumes a static model and that Sun won't do anything except stay where they are in terms of product mix. Thats very unlikely.

However, Microsoft is a dominant player, and frankly could crush most competitors due to its monopoly position. So they can bring a huge amount of pressure to bear against Sun if they wish to. We will see.

Addi tried to cut and paste and didn't take... The key here is Barrons can cause a lot of trouble without sufficient background. This is not the first time I have seen them publish something on Sat and the stock reacts on Monday and the readers believe it because its published in Barrons. John
