stockdoc, glad you got your first shot. Curious about your comment on youth getting vaccinated. Have there been any trials with people under 16? Thought the Moderna age cut-off was 18 and Pfizer 16. It may not seem as urgent since the impact on these ages seems less, but under 18 = 20% of the population, which means herd immunity becomes very difficult if they aren't part of the process.

Couple more things. Had an odd occurrence on Facebook the other day. Commented on a friends picture. Then noticed the next person who'd commented on the same photo was Hope Rugo. One and the same from the ASCENT study. So I replied to her, thanking her for her work. Don't know her, but obviously, she's been a big part part of the Trodelvy story and made a world of difference. Figured it was a chance to say thank you, even if it happened in a very odd way.

Second, I had an idea on how to get more people in the vaccine line which would also help cover various costs. And the folks at STAT thought enough of it, provocative as it is, to put it out there. So here's the piece.

Stockdoc, am I missing something basic here?
Why isn't everyone admitted and currently a patient in a hospital from now on, automatically given the vaccine to minimize the progression of the disease?
