Leland, you have to ask yourself. . .if KLIC's lead underwriter is a big seller, would you be a buyer?

Leland, while it is possible that Montgomery is bearish on the stock, it is also posssible (IMHO more likely) that MONT has a client who is a big seller. If so, MONT would be engaging in what I believe is referred to as "riskless principal" trading; that is to say, MONT looks like it is selling for its own account, but it really has a customer that has agreed to sell it shares on an agreed upon price for each share that it sells to the market (with some negotiated mark up). This is a legitimate dealer practice, and if this is the case (and I am only speculating assuming, among other things, the accuracy of your remarks), some consider this to be positive for the stock in the near term. The stock is holding up in spite of a big seller, and once he is finished, the stock will be free to advance.

I should add that I don't own any KLIC presently, but I am considering purchasing some in the near future (if I can find the money ... sound familiar?).

Regards and good luck.
