Invested in a sleep # bed & downloaded an app called relaxing melodies. Drop a hearing aid in my left ear (tinnitus) and turn on the app... created my own sounds that contain thunder, rain & other various sounds that replicate all the years of sound sleep from living on the north shore of Kauai & I went from getting 4 hours/night to 6 to 8 depending on various external conditions.

The sleep # bed monitors & creates a data set every morning.

good for you. none of us realize just how important rest is to the body. not necessarily the duration but the quality....many of our hormone releases are wired in conjunction with our sleep/wake cycle.
