Well, like I said. This is "Before" inauguration day so there may be some procedure perhaps. She could be led right up to Justice John Roberts and place her hand and swear in but if there's a sudden demise of the "elected" candidate then the question is whether Kamala is automatic president or if Nancy steps in and then hands over the reins of the office. Or maybe some other protocols are at work. Don't think that this ever happened before so there's no precedent to go by.
