Once, in the mid 80’s, I spent a week skiing up in Mont Tremblant, Canada, at -30C and below. So did my wife and 2 little kids. I’ll say it again - young people aren’t just different — they’re a different species.

I rode my MTB off road at -5, the lowest that i ever went on a bike. If you protect, your extremities you can put up with a lot but the biggest issue is sweat from exertion. My biggest concern is having a mechanical far away. Really hard to fix a flat or change a tire with gloves on...
