I take a good bit of turmeric daily, but my physician (internist) has recommended that I consider the Meriva Curcumin, as he believes is better absorbed than other forms.

Amazon.com: Meriva Curcumin 500 - Clinically Proven 29x Better Absorption Than Ordinary Turmeric Curcumin Supplements - Proven Joint Support & Inflammatory Response - Soy-Free, Sustained-Release - 120 Capsules: Health & Personal Care

My problem is that the clinic where he is located has an in-house pharmacy that sells this product.

I really like and believe my doctor, but it is more expensive than the brand I use so naturally, I want to understand whether I'm getting a sales pitch or there is a factual basis for the brand preference by him.

Have you seen or heard of this before?
